  1. Bug is the name given to the INSECT of the
  2. order Hemiptera, although other insects are
  3. refered to as bugs. True bugs have partially
  4. thickened, partially membranous front wings 
  5. and peircing-sucking mouth parts in the form
  6. of a beak. The majority of bugs are 
  7. terrestrial but many are aquatic. See WATER_BUG
  8. Most feed off of the juices of plants 
  9. although many feed from the blood of other
  10. insects, whilst a number feed from the blood
  11. of humans, these are commonly refered to as
  12. the BED_BUG.
